Kiddie Update

I thought I would share the latest and greatest news on our home front. The kids are growing and thriving faster than I can keep up. Pic Pic has learned how to ride her bike. I can't believe how fast time goes. It seems like just yesterday she was the age of Ice Man. Dan Dan is talking up a storm. It is so cute to see some of the phrases she puts together. One of my favorites is "Mom I am talking too you!" Just image that in two year old sassy talk. Ice Man has figured out how to pull himself forward with his arms when he is laying on the floor. He still prefers rolling as his mode of transportation, he hasn't quite figured out how to crawl yet. He has such a goofy grin right now with his four teeth.  I am still trying to figure this stay at home mom thing, routines and such. Just when I think I have things figured out something gets through in the loop, usually fevers are the culprit. On the home schooling front I have decided not try and stress on it as much, I know that if I am this concerned about it, what ever choices we make will be fine.  Right know I have been using the Let Us Attend for our orthodox studies and just adapt it to meet our calendar as well as any coloring pages and stories I find regarding the feast days. I am hoping to share what we will be doing for Theophany which we will be celebrating this week. As far as preschool we have been using Letter of the Week and some of the books from Sonlight. Hubby is busy with his pastoral classes. He will be finishing up his first semester this week. I am very happy to support him on this adventure and try and do what I can to help out.

  1. Your family is beautiful!!

I need to apply some of what you are doing to our homeschooling as well. I had already forgotten about "Let Us Attend". I need to just print those off and have them ready. That is such a great resource!

  2. I do enjoy using it. I usually try to print them off at the beginning of the month so that I have them handy to use as time permits itself.
